Cookies

Effective from 20 October 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage) works in a similar way. On shop.oxodrink.com we use them in two groups.

Necessary

The shop does not work without them, so we do not need your consent for them (section 89(3) of the Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll.).

  • oxo-consent (browser storage): your choice in the cookie bar. Kept until you change it.
  • cart_id (browser storage): your cart number, so items stay in your cart. Removed once you complete an order.
  • medusa_selected_region (browser storage): whether you shop for delivery to Czechia or Slovakia, and in which currency.
  • NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): the site language when you switch it. Removed when you close the browser.
  • _medusa_jwt (cookie): keeps you logged in. Set only when you log in, valid for 7 days.
  • __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid (Stripe cookies): set by the Stripe payment form when you pay by card, to prevent fraud. __stripe_mid lasts 1 year, __stripe_sid 30 minutes.

The pickup point selection shows Packeta's map (widget.packeta.com). When you open it, Packeta may use its own cookies in its window under its own rules.

Analytics

Only if you click "Accept all" in the cookie bar. They help us understand how the site is used, for example how many people reach checkout. We use PostHog with data stored in the EU. The data goes through our domain shop.oxodrink.com.

  • ph_<project key>_posthog (cookie and browser storage): an anonymous visitor and session identifier. Lasts 1 year.
  • __ph_opt_in_out_<project key> (browser storage): remembers that you withdrew consent to analytics.

How to change your consent

Click "Cookie settings" in the site footer. The cookie bar shows again and you can choose "Necessary only". We then delete the analytics cookies and PostHog no longer runs. You can also delete everything stored at any time in your browser settings.
